(More customer reviews)My children loved this book because it was about a real duck. The drawings are splendid, and the story is focused. Wonderful job! I am aghast that the reviewer for The Horn Book would allow personal feelings for the author to color their opinion on this book. Maybe the reviewer should take up writing and illustrating since they feel they can do a better job!

This wonderful tale teaches children the importance of obeying rules and doing as they are told. It reminds them to listen to adults, and shows them that this does not prevent them from enjoying themselves. It also helps them to learn more about the Peabody Orlando Hotel and its famous Duck March. Full color.
