I'm an interior designer and this is my favorite book for inspiration. I have almost every significant book on the topic of decorating. This book is extremely detail oriented and it is truly of the purist French design. It is not America's idea of French flea market decorating as it is a reflection of an author who truly had amazing connections to enter these fabulous homes. It is definitely not Parisian flea market decorating but instead it is exemplifies decoration with no limitations in budget.
