The Michelin guide can be counted on. Every restaurant I've been to which they recommended has been great

It was helpful only if you knew where you were going or knew the area quite well. As a tourist it didnt help much if you wanted to find a specific type of food in a specific area. One night ended up wandering 12 blocks just to find a reasonably priced italian place in UES.

The surveyors are 54% women and 46% men.52% are in their 20s and 30s and 48% are 40 and over.No matter the economic climate, New York's appetite for lively dining destinations continues unabated, inspiring ever bolder ventures. For every notable closing, there's another restaurateur waiting in the wings, often joined by an expensive team of architects and designers, and ZAGAT is always there to note the changes.

The Man Who Robbed The Pierre: The Story of Bobby Comfort and the Biggest Hotel Robbery Ever Review

The Man Who Robbed The Pierre: The Story of Bobby Comfort and the Biggest Hotel Robbery Ever

I found this a most enjoyable book to read. Having grown up in Rochester, NY and having had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Bobby Comfort it was a pleasure to read about his earlier days. I was only in my twenties when I met him, but, had heard the rumors about his earlier days. I can tell you that the book portrays an easy going man who seemed more of a family man than a masterful robber. He was the typical neighbor every one waves to when you go out to get the morning paper. Little did anyone know of his expertise. His book is both true to life and easy reading - making it a joy to read. The flow of the novel is consistent. I found it hard to put down. I would recommend this book highly.
