It gives you all the information on the region of the country, when to go, when not to go, what you will see, the night life, shopping, restaurants, hotels. What you can expect in the hotels, pictures of the rooms. It is just a must have for the new and inexperienced traveler who wants to do some traveling but never knew where to go and what to expect. They also give you information on how to get around, what to pack, and what festivals and big events are happening at any given time so you will know the perfect time for you and when you want to be in said place. I just love this book. They also tell you how to tip hotel staff, restaurant staff, taxi drivers. Anything and everything you wanted to know is in the book.
