SPARTACUS International Hotel and Restaurant Guide 2011 is now in its 10th Edition and rather that simply adding to information from the past (the easy way out!) this guide starts with a fresh look at all of the spots throughout the world that cater to the clientele for which the book is designed. Each country of destination begins with a map of the country and the places in that country that are to be discussed: this is matched with all the details about visiting that country that the tourist needs to know - currency, climate, languages, international access code, etc. This basic information then opens into photographs of hotels, hideaways, restaurants and clubs, beaches if any, resorts, and a running line about the sociopolitical climate.
The opening pages of the book are in German, English, Spanish and French and offer explanations for the many symbols used throughout the guide that make using this tool very user-friendly. Cross-referencing is simplified by the registers in the back of the book. For the traveler who wants to know about friendly spaces and accompanying information that make the difference between a great experience and a disappointing one, this SPARTACUS GUIDE is the finest one yet published.
