The only way a hotel can get into this guide is if enough travelers (plain old travelers, like you and me, not professional reviewers who get special treatment!) stay in a hotel, and are impressed enough to sit down and actually send a letter or e-mail to the editors of this guide. No advertising, free gifts, free stays, or any other consideration goes back and forth between the hotels and editors of this guide. I have stayed in about 15 properties recommended by this guide and have found all to have something special, something extra...something that makes a traveler in this busy day and age take a half hour out of their day and send in a review. Just stay in one hotel recommended by this guide and you will never go back to your old way of finding hotels!
